Abstract: 
The present research aims to study some of the Andean myths and legends, with the purpose of including some of their elements and characters in the serial script Cafetería de leyendas, the theoretical framework on which we will theorize our proposals includes the concepts of the adaptation of myths and legends in the audiovisual media, analyzing the films made with Andean mythology, these concepts are contributed by Laura Collin (1999), Patricia Restom (2003) and Luis Reino (2012). Our research question is: What is the capacity of a serial to reconstruct, redesign and adapt myths and legends, coming from the Andean oral transmission and that has an impact on today's society? Based on the above, our research will be a bibliographic review, film analysis, and application of the research to the script of the proposed serial

En esta investigación se pretende estudiar algunos de los mitos y leyendas andinas, con el propósito de incluir algunos de sus elementos y personajes dentro del guion serial Cafetería de leyendas, el marco teórico sobre el que vamos a teorizar nuestras propuestas incluye los conceptos de la adaptación de los mitos y leyendas en los medios audiovisuales, analizando las películas realizadas con la mitología andina, dichos conceptos son aportados por Laura Collin(1999) Patricia Restom (2003) y Luis Reino (2012) siendo nuestra pregunta de investigación ¿Cuál es la capacidad de un serial para reconstruir, rediseñar y adaptar a los mitos y leyendas, provenientes de la trasmisión oral andina y que tenga impacto en la sociedad actual?. A partir de lo anterior nuestra investigación va a ser una revisión bibliográfica, análisis fílmico, y aplicación de lo investigado al guion del serial planteado
