| dc.description | El presente trabajo se centra en identificar y registrar los lugares que han resultado claves para la historia y la resistencia de la población LGBTIQ+ en la ciudad de Cuenca. Para su elaboración se emplea una metodología de carácter cualitativo y alcance explicativo. Se pretende examinar como estos espacios se han comprendido de 1996 a 2014, según narrativas personales y colectivas en búsqueda de reconocimiento. Esta investigación se fundamenta en las líneas teóricas de la geografía emocional y la historia cultural, y analiza la importancia de estos espacios como puntos de encuentro, sociabilidad, visibilidad y resistencia dentro de una ciudad que ha experimentado grandes transformaciones sociales significativas en los últimos años. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This research focuses on identifying and documenting the key places for the history and resistance of the LGBTIQ+ population in the city of Cuenca. To approach the study, a qualitative methodology with an explanatory scope is employed. The aim is to explore how these spaces were perceived from 1996 to 2014 through analysis and talking maps, drawing on personal and collective narratives in quest of recognition. This research is grounded in the theoretical frameworks of emotional geography and cultural history. It examines the importance of these spaces as meeting points, social hubs, visibility platforms, and sites of resistance within a city that has experienced significant social transformations in recent years. | en_US |
