Propuesta interpretativa de la Partita No. 2 en re menor BWV 1004 de Johann Sebastian Bach, basado en un análisis retórico y sinestésico

Abstract

The crossing of borders between the arts, interdisciplinarity: it focuses the resources of different artistic areas in order to find a result in which the arts support each other. The interpreter's role is to decode the score with an approach as close as possible to the composer's idea in order to present it to the audience. In order to do this, prior to the interpretation, he will use as many resources as possible, which helps to figure out the work’s compositional language. This project focuses on accomplishing an analysis that explores the affective contents of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Partita for solo violin in D minor BWV 1004, taking into account existing research and analysis that is focused on the rhetorical figures of the Baroque and the treatise on René Descartes The Passions of the Soul (1989). A color-music relationship that looks into the presence of associations and topics subject to Wassily Kandinsky's theory of color antinomies and his book On the Spiritual in Art (1989 [1912]) is also laid out.
