Anteproyecto de un equipamiento público para el sector de Chaurizhín en la provincia del Azuay

Abstract

Urban facilities are one of the elements on which the quality of life of urban settlements and the organization of community life are based, that is to say, they are the physical means that shape the relationship between city, public space and inhabitants. At the national level, the city of Chordeleg is recognized for its cultural and ancestral wealth, the creativity of its craftsmen and the diversity of crafts that they make, mainly in pottery, goldsmiths, toquilla straw and footwear, are activities that are intimately related to this great cultural and ancestral wealth. Chaurinzhín, an archaeologica l site of the city of Chordeleg, also known for the creativity of its craftsmen, is a site with a great cultural value, for this reason it proposes the design of an urban architectural equipment, which guarantees the potentialization of these ancestral techniques that are part of its history The project must adapt to the history of the sector, respecting its aesthetic, historical and symbolic value, being values that preserve in its memory the image of Chaurinzhín. Therefore, the present document, through a process of analysis and prior research, seeks to arrive at the conception of criteria to be taken into account in the development of the design of the new urban architectural equipment.
