El rol de la familia en el proceso educativo de los niños y las niñas de primer año de Educación General Básica

Abstract

This graduation work answers the question: What is the role of the family in the educational process of children from First Year of General Basic Education? It is intended to estabilish the relationship of family and school in the educational process of the children from the First Year of General Basic Education. The research used literature review as the main source of information and it was divided into three categories: the role of the family, educational |process and first year of basic general education. We conclude that the family has always been in constant disagreement with the school because for several years served a secondary role in education, providing formation of children to teachers. The role of the family is still limited to the presence at meetings but it is not fully involved in the activities of the educational community or school homework. Finally, it is established the process parameters on the involvement of parents in the educational process and characteristics of the role they need to have to improve the performance of children in the educational process.
