This research intends to identify the perceptions of violence among peers, female and male students in the Second Year of Bachillerato of the Miguel Moreno High School, an urban educational center in Cuenca city. This is a quantitative study which develops an exploratory scope in a sample of 165 students.
The study determines that violence is actively perceived in both, male and female students. However, thepercentaje of physical, verbal and disruptive violence is the most significant inside the classroom.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo, identificar cuáles son las percepciones sobre la violencia entre pares, que tienen los estudiantes hombres y mujeres de segundo de bachillerato. Para esto se realizó un estudio de tipo cuantitativo con alcance exploratorio, con una muestra de 165 estudiantes, se ejecutó en el área urbana, a nivel institucional con los estudiantes del segundo de bachillerato del colegio Miguel Moreno. El estudio llego a determinar que: tanto en los hombres como en las mujeres se percibe activamente la violencia, pero con mayor grado de porcentaje o significancia la violencia de tipo física, verbal y disrupción en el aula.
