Análisis del texto oficial de lengua y literatura para primero de bachillerato general unificado

Abstract

The new orientation of the High School Graduation Unified System focuses on the application of a textbook of Language and Literature in the first year of high school to be used for the first time nationwide. This decision has evident educational connotations in regard to the students’ instruction and the teachers’ pedagogical strategies. The latter will have to use the material included in such textbook in a different way. Furthermore, the objective in regard to the recognition of literature as an artistic manifestation which helps to understand and transform the world deserves a serious review of the contents of that textbook. Consequently, I consider that it is necessary to analyze the literary discourses in order to determine whether the selection of topics, authors, works, and learning activities meet the requirements stipulated by the Ministry of Education. The methodology to be used in this project is an introduction of every curricular block in order to determine the pertinence of its formal structure, the selection of readings, and a few proposals presented in the final chapter.
