| dc.description | El presente estudio propone identificar las nuevas representaciones del monstruo en el contexto de la literatura del siglo XXI, particularmente en la narrativa producida por la más reciente generación de escritoras ecuatorianas. Esta propuesta pretende abandonar la idea de que lo aterrador se materializa únicamente con forma de imponentes bestias y/o fenómenos sobrenaturales o fantásticos; reconociendo que el mal se origina e invade las zonas más cercanas a nosotros. Por lo tanto, se propone analizar de qué manera la infancia se constituye en la etapa del origen del mal (violencia y locura) a través de lo monstruoso en la obra Nuestra piel muerta (2019), de Natalia García Freire. Este estudio se realizará mediante un análisis crítico de la obra, a partir del análisis del discurso con autores como Gabriel Giorgi, 2009; Adolfo Vásquez, 2012; Carmen Molina, 2004; Paz Velasco de la Fuente, 2018, entre otros. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present study proposes to identify the new representations of the monster in the context of the literature of the 21st century, particularly in the narrative produced by the most recent generation of Ecuadorian women writers. This proposal aims to abandon the idea that the terrifying materializes only in the form of imposing beasts and/or supernatural or fantastic phenomena; recognizing that evil originates and invades the areas closest to us. Therefore, it is proposed to analyze how childhood is constituted in the stage of the origin of evil (violence and madness) through the monstrous in the play Nuestra piel muerta (2019), by Natalia García Freire.
