| Abstract: | This degree project proposes the realization of four arrangements of music belonging to the
band Pink Floyd for a mixed choir format, which includes the voices of sopranos, altos, tenors
and basses.
This work explores the history of the band, defining its style, detailing its musical
characteristics and how these can be incorporated into the techniques for the elaboration of
the choral arrangements proposed in this degree project. Subsequently, techniques for the
realization of choral arrangements are studied, such as: the melodic movement of each of the
voices and the construction of chords and harmonic progressions within the arrangement.
Within the content of this degree work there is a section specifically dedicated to the creation
of choral arrangements based on other themes of the rock music genre, which served as a
guide for the realization of the proposed arrangements. Finally, the musical characteristics of
the selected Pink Floyd songs, from which the arrangements of the present project were made,
are explored. These include instrumentation, timbres, tonality and meter, to finally detail how
the arrangement of each of the themes was made, describing the techniques used and
incorporating the elements of the original themes |
| Description: | En el presente proyecto de titulación se propone la realización de cuatro arreglos de música
perteneciente a la agrupación musical Pink Floyd para un formato de coro mixto, el cual
incluye las voces de sopranos, contraltos, tenores y bajos.
Este trabajo aborda una exploración de la historia de la banda en dónde se define su estilo,
se detallan sus características musicales y cómo éstas pueden ser incorporadas dentro de
las técnicas para la elaboración de los arreglos corales propuestos en el presente proyecto
de titulación. Posteriormente, se estudian técnicas para la realización de arreglos corales
como: el movimiento melódico de cada una de las voces y la construcción de acordes y
progresiones armónicas dentro del arreglo. Dentro del contenido de este trabajo de titulación
existe un apartado dedicado específicamente a la creación de arreglos corales a partir de
otros temas del género musical rock, los cuales sirvieron de guía para la realización de los
arreglos propuestos. Finalmente, se exploran las características musicales de los temas
seleccionados de Pink Floyd, de los cuales se realizaron los arreglos del presente proyecto.
Estas incluyen instrumentación, timbres, tonalidad y compás, para finalmente detallar cómo
se realizó el arreglo de cada uno de los temas describiendo las técnicas utilizadas e
incorporando los elementos de los temas originales |
