Aplicación del juego teatral como estrategia didáctica para fortalecer la expresión oral en Primero de Bachillerato Técnico

Abstract

Oral expression is essential for the learning and social interaction of students; however, educational institutions are facing increasing difficulties and diverse situations that prevent the correct development of this skill. By virtue of this, the objective of this work is to develop and implement theatrical play as a didactic strategy in the subject of language and literature to strengthen orality skills in students of the first year of Technical Baccalaureate. The theoretical foundation is based on the Manual of Theatre Pedagogy by García Huidobro (2020) which uses the concept of theatrical play or dramatic play as an expressive art where the body executes actions in specific situations supported by a written text or by improvisation. The work is carried out through action-practice research according to Pérez and Nieto (2009), aimed at high school students of the Guillermo Mensi Educational Unit. The stages to be developed are a) diagnosis of the problem, b) design of the proposal, c) implementation and d) analysis and reflection. The results obtained show that theatrical play contributes significantly to improving students' orality and group integration within classes.
