Estudio histórico y etnográfico de la comunidad San Agustín; concertaje y reforma agraria

Abstract

The present research focuses on analyzing the way of life of the huasipungueros of the community and hacienda of San Agustín, during the era of concertaje and agrarian reform (1870-2000), with the aim of understanding the social dynamism of that time, and to in turn contribute from regional history and the memory of the community members. This historical study uses ethnographic method tools such as interviews for its preparation and is complemented with historical archives, record books and farm control notebooks, which validate the information collected. Therefore, it can be concluded that this hacienda reproduced a model of social stratification defined for agricultural production and later for the distribution of huasipungos during the agrarian reform.
