Plan para la implementación de un sistema de gestión de calidad según norma ISO 9001:2015, en una industria de caucho de la ciudad de Cuenca

Abstract

This degree work was developed in a microenterprise located in the city of Cuenca called Rubber Industry, which is dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of rubber and rubber metal products. The degree work began with the diagnosis of the initial situation of Rubber Industry, through interviews to the personnel and the application of the checklist of requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, obtaining 10% compliance, from which an implementation plan of the Quality Management System (QMS) was developed for the company; 64 actions were proposed and 57 of them were prioritized. For the development of the degree work, the proposed and prioritized actions were executed through quality tools, including as the most relevant MEFI, DOFA, PESTEL, process maps, turtle diagrams, indicators system, risks and opportunities matrix, among others. In the month of April 2023, the internal documentary audit of the organization's QMS was executed, where it was evidenced that 97% compliance with the planned and prioritized actions was achieved, in addition, 90% compliance with ISO 9001:2015 was obtained as a result, which indicated an 80% improvement with respect to the initial situation of the Rubber Industry’s QMS. These results indicated the effectiveness of the proposed implementation plan, evidencing that the methodology used was adequate for the company.
