| Abstract: | Abstract
This intervention project consists of developing a proposal for the tourist use of the intangible cultural heritage of the Suscal canton, based on the qualitative approach of ethnographic scope, which aims to cover the need to safeguard the intangible culture of the canton; that over the years has lost recognition and its social importance, as a result of deficient planning processes and little use of the cultural manifestations of the area. Initially, an analysis of the current situation of the Suscal canton was carried out in a cultural and tourist context; subsequently, the intangible cultural elements of the canton were identified, through an inventory of the intangible cultural heritage, based on the files for the survey and hierarchy of tourist attractions, managed by the Ministry of Tourism; and the inventory sheet of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC). Finally, a tourist proposal was generated to take advantage of the living culture of Suscal, through five programs and their respective projects and activities, focused on covering the needs raised in the development of the project.

El presente proyecto de intervención consiste en desarrollar una propuesta de aprovechamiento turístico del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial del cantón Suscal, basado en el enfoque cualitativo de alcance etnográfico, el cual pretende cubrir la necesidad de salvaguardar la cultura inmaterial del cantón; que a lo largo de los años ha perdido reconocimiento y su importancia social, como consecuencia de procesos deficientes de planificación y escaso aprovechamiento de las manifestaciones culturales de la zona. Inicialmente, se realizó un análisis de la situación actual del cantón Suscal en un contexto cultural y turístico; posteriormente se identificaron los elementos culturales inmateriales del cantón, a través de un inventario del patrimonio cultural inmaterial, con base en las fichas para el levantamiento y jerarquización de atractivos turísticos, gestionada por el Ministerio de Turismo; y la ficha de inventario del Instituto Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural (INPC). Finalmente, se generó una propuesta turística para aprovechar la cultura viva de Suscal, mediante cinco programas y sus respectivos proyectos y actividades, enfocados en cubrir las necesidades planteadas en el desarrollo del proyecto.
