| Abstract: | The present intervention work aims to the tourist attractions inventory update of the Gualaquiza canton in the province of Zamora Chinchipe, the work will be an essential tool for tourism planning, in addition to identifying the natural attractions and cultural manifestations that each parish in the canton has. This inventory will help the territorial planning of the space where the attraction and its population is located. The canton did not have an updated inventory, therefore, an agreement was made between the authors of this research and the Municipal GAD, for the elaboration of the intervention work, using the Methodology of the Ministry of Tourism (2018). In the first instance, the attractions were identified, then the information was gathered, as well as the weighting and hierarchy of the attractions; and the association and typification of tourist spaces was generated, through the Geographic Information System (GIS) tool and finally, the inventory of tourist attractions was socialized with the Department of Tourism of the Municipality GAD of Gualaquiza. |
| Resumen : | El presente trabajo de intervención tiene como objetivo actualizar el inventario
de atractivos turísticos del cantón Gualaquiza de la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, el trabajo
se constituirá en una herramienta esencial para la planificación turística, además que permite
identificar a los atractivos naturales y manifestaciones culturales que tiene cada una de las
parroquias del cantón. Este inventario ayudará a la planificación territorial del espacio donde
se encuentra el atractivo y su población. El cantón no contaba con un inventario actualizado,
por consiguiente, se realizó un convenio entre los autores de esta investigación y el GAD
Municipal, para la elaboración del trabajo de intervención, utilizando la Metodología del
Ministerio de Turismo (2018). En primera instancia, se identificaron los atractivos,
posteriormente se realizó el levantamiento de información, así como la ponderación y
jerarquización de los atractivos; y se generó la asociación y tipificación de espacios turísticos,
mediante la herramienta de Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) y finalmente, se
socializó el inventario de atractivos turísticos con el Departamento de Turismo del GAD
municipalidad de Gualaquiza. |
