| dc.description | La investigación se realiza con un universo de 70 niños/as y adolescentes en edades comprendidas entre los 5 y 14 años tomándose una muestra de 60 niños, es cuali-cuantitativa de tipo descriptiva, se basó en la aplicación de entrevistas a los padres de familia, a los escolares que acuden a la institución, revisión de fichas y documentos archivados en este centro. Resultados: 54.83de los niños tienen características socioeconómicas deficitarias, pertenecen a hogares desestructurados con conflictos que han incidido negativamente en el proceso de desarrollo de los niños provocándoles trastornos psicosociales, destacándose la agresividad, dificultades en el estudio, el robo y la mentira. Todos estos indicadores dan a conocer la situación real sobre los problemas psicosociales de los escolares que asisten al centro.
