| dc.description | El trabajo que se desarrolla, titulado El Paisaje Rural en la parroquia Chaucha se aborda, desde la descripción de los aspectos físicos-geográficos que caracterizan a esta área, tales como: clima, relieve, suelo, vegetación, entre otros. Además, el análisis del paisaje cultural que explica la presencia de grupos humanos, evidenciados por el hallazgo de artefactos y utensilios arqueológicos que se atribuyen posiblemente a la cultura Cañari, que ocupó el área de estudio entre los años 500 a 1480 d.C aproximadamente. Luego, se aborda el paisaje colonial, cuyos registros históricos datan desde mediados del siglo XVII, donde muestra latifundios dedicados a la cría de ganado vacuno, caballar y cañaverales, en las zonas bajas. Finalmente, se explica las características del paisaje actual, donde se observa una ocupación poblacional dispersa dedicadas a actividades agrícolas y ganaderas de autoconsumo. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The title of this research is The Rural Landscape in the parish of Chaucha. It is about the description of the physical-geographical aspects that characterizes this area, such as the weather, topography, soil, and vegetation, among others. Furthermore, the analysis of the cultural landscape explains the presence of human groups through the discovery of archaeological artifacts and utensils. They are possibly attributed to the Cañari culture who occupied the studied area around 500-1480 d.C. The colonial landscape is historically recorded from the mid-seventeenth century. It reveals that people dedicated to raising cattle, horses, and reed beds in the lowlands. Finally, the research explains the characteristics of the current landscape where a diverse population dedicated to farming activities is observed. | es_ES |
