Abstract

The results of this work titled: Memories of Maria Rafael Arízaga Street, through illustrations of old adults thoughts, makes a brief review of the history of the Rafael María Arízaga Street, obtained from the everyday look of the habitants. Through which the memory is considered as place of research like a historical document of a place. Memory and imagination exposes relationships that emerge between people and space affecting the property, identity and symbolism turning the space into a place full of social significance. At the same time, oral history and memories are mixed in the illustration as an important part of research and art. The illustration evidence the process of concept-image and then the product. In this case the illustrations for a calendar that the graphics are based on a process of planning, conceptualization and production. Art last the final proposal collects and highlights important aspects obtained through research and reaffirms the cultural values and identity of the street
