Abstract

This thesis is an investigation about modern woman, and how religion and society have affected their female authenticity, locking themselves into a strictly thought directed by religion. This thesis analyzes the reasons and consequences of shame, social shyness in talking about certain issues, especially female sexuality. Analyzing female challenges that women have had to pass within a culture and education directed by a patriarchal system that has affected the psyche of women, becoming the subject of sexuality in controversial, muted, taboo and a sin and has been affected from generation to generation
