Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación de un glamping en el cantón El Pan, Azuay - Ecuador

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility for the implementation of a glamping in the canton El Pan, located in the province of Azuay, Ecuador. The geographical, socioeconomic and tourist conditions of the site are analyzed to determine if they are appropriate for the creation and success of the project. The methodology used was quantitative and cross-sectional, including the collection of information through surveys of the target market, made up of millennials from the canton Cuenca, followed by an analysis of these data using the SPSS statistical tool. The results obtained show a high interest on the part of the target market in alternative lodging experiences that combine comfort, convenience and direct contact with nature. Also, the financial indicators were positive, which confirms the viability of the project. Finally, they highlight the opportunities for tourism and economic development of El Pan canton, as well as the challenges related to time, information collection and financing, which was faced when conducting the study.
