Abstract

The proposal for a themed lodge in the Sidcay parish, Azuay Province, highlighting the cultures and regions of Ecuador, presents itself as an exceptional opportunity in the dynamic hotel market. This unique establishment proposes to offer guests a memorable experience by immersing them in a themed environment, highlighting the country's abundant cultural and natural diversity. The cultural and community focus of this project sets it apart, as it seeks not only to adopt eco-friendly practices, but also to promote awareness and respect for cultural diversity, thus enriching the visitor's experience. The proposal aims to position the Sidcay parish as a tourist destination, allowing visitors to delve into the culture, history and traditions of Ecuador's diverse regions. The research associated with the proposal addresses the advantages and disadvantages of tourism in the area, as well as its natural and cultural attractions. A market study was conducted through surveys and interviews to evaluate favorable aspects of the proposal. The research culminates with a technical and financial analysis, detailing costs and essential elements for the operation, supported by an evaluation that demonstrates the feasibility and profitability of the project through the breakeven point.
