| dc.description | Se realizó la investigación con el objetivo de determinar la prevalencia de las complicaciones durante la exodoncia simple en pacientes Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Cuenca. Se utilizó un formulario que contiene datos generales del paciente y específicos de cada complicación. Se usó estadística descriptiva en proporciones y porcentajes. Los resultados demostraron una prevalencia de complicaciones de 42,5% que corresponde a 120 piezas dentales, los molares superiores (43,2%) mostraron una mayor prevalencia de complicaciones durante el procedimiento de exodoncia simple. El dolor (56,9%) y la fractura del diente a extraer (45,1%) fueron las complicaciones más fecuentes. No se encontraron piezas dentales que hayan sufrido complicaciones de desplazamiento del diente al seno maxilar y de hemorragia intraoperatoria. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The research was carried out with the objective of determining the prevalence of complications during simple exodontia in patients at the Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Cuenca. A form was used that contains general data of the patient and specific of each complication. The results showed a prevalence of complications of 42.5% corresponding to 120 teeth, the upper molars (43.2%) showed a higher prevalence of complications during the simple extraction procedure. The pain (56.9%) and the tooth fracture to extract (45.1%) were the most frequent complications.
