Existe gran confusión sobre el diagnóstico, etiología y los mecanismos de la hipersensibilidad dentinal, por lo tanto, los profesionales carecen de la confianza para manejar dicha condición de manera eficaz. Most patients suffering from dentinal hypersensitivity is presented as a breakthrough pain, acute short-term, very annoying and often can be unbearable. There is great confusion about the diagnosis, etiology and mechanisms of dentinal hypersensitivity, therefore professionals lack the confidence to manage this condition effectively.
