| dc.description | La ciudad, como espacio fundamental para el desarrollo de las actividades cotidianas de millones de personas alrededor del mundo, presenta diversas contradicciones sociales en su configuración actual. El acceso al uso del espacio público es el eje central de esta investigación, la cual analiza el ejercicio del "Derecho a la Ciudad" y su falta de consenso en cuanto a su significado jurídico, político y social. En el marco normativo actual, que promueve un modelo de Estado de bienestar y protección de derechos sociales y económicos desde la Constitución, se evidencia un deterioro en las políticas públicas sociales que afecta directamente, el acceso a los derechos, especialmente para aquellos que se encuentran en el sector informal de la economía y dependen del uso del espacio público como medio de subsistencia. | en_US |

The access to public space constitutes the central theme of this research, which examines the exercise of the "Right to the City" and its lack of consensus regarding its meaning. In the present normative context, which promotes a welfare state model and the protection of social and economic rights through the Constitution, there is a noticeable deterioration in social public policies that directly affects the access to rights, particularly for those engaged in the informal sector of the economy who rely on the use of public space for their direct subsistence. | en_US |
