| dc.description | La gestión de riesgos es esencial para poder anticiparse a posibles eventos infortunados, razón para que el objetivo de la presente investigación sea determinar los riesgos financieros en los que podrían incurrir las empresas cuencanas dentro del contexto COVID-19. La investigación es de tipo cuantitativa con un enfoque correlacional y método hipotético deductivo. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se considerarán los datos presentados por la Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros del periodo 2020, de las grandes empresas cuencanas. Para la fijación de riesgos y no riesgos financieros, se usa el Z Score de Altman como criterio de clasificación de riesgos financieros, adicional se estima un modelo de regresión logística para identificar los factores que pueden influir en el riesgo financiero de las empresas. Los principales resultados indican que la liquidez y la rotación de cartera influyen de forma inversa en el riesgo financiero, sin embargo, el endeudamiento afecta de forma directa al riesgo financiero de las empresas cuencanas. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Risk management is essential to be able to anticipate possible unfortunate events, which is why the objective of this research is to determine the financial risks in which cuencanas companies could incur within the COVID-19 context. The research is quantitative with a correlational approach and a hypothetical deductive method. For the development of the work, the data presented by the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance of the period 2020, of the large companies of Cuenca will be considered. For the determination of financial risks and non-financial risks, Altman's Z Score is used as a criterion for the classification of financial risks, and a logistic regression model is estimated to identify the factors that can influence the financial risk of the companies. The main results indicate that liquidity and portfolio turnover have an inverse influence on financial risk; however, indebtedness has a direct effect on the financial risk of Cuenca companies. | en_US |
