Análisis comparativo entre la ciudad planificada y la ciudad construida. Caso Cuenca entre los años 2003 y 2018

Abstract

This research work analyzes data on land occupation in the peri-urban area of Cuenca, and in turn, this information is compared with what is established in the planning instruments to determine the degree of compliance with them. A theoretical framework is constructed to support the research, based on the historical description of the emergence of the city and, in turn, the definition of the planned city and the management of the city. The planning of the city of Cuenca since 1950 is analyzed. Then, the area of study and the methodology to be used to achieve the proposed objectives are established, the study variables are applied and the results are compared between the planned city and the built city. The results obtained will reflect the degree of compliance with the regulations in the real city. Finally, strategies or guidelines are established based on which programs, subprograms and projects are developed as a guide to make the planned city a reality, through the construction of an appropriate planning and management of land occupation in the peri-urban area.
