Propuesta de plan de desarrollo turístico de la parroquia Turi 2019 - 2023

Abstract

The general objective of this intervention project is to develop a proposal for a tourism development plan for the Turi parish, for the period 2019 – 2023, for which the Guide to the formulation of tourism development plans in rural terriotires (2014) of the Ibero – American Institute for Cooperation for Agriculture (IICA) was considered. The plan comprises three well-defined stages: the first shows the situational analysis of Turi parish, considering the aspects: social, economic, environmental and cultural; the second includes the tourist diagnosis comprising the tourist inventory of the territory based on the Methodology for the Hierarchy of Attractions and Generation of Tourist Spaces of Ecuador of Ministry of Tourism, updated in 2018, the study of supply through on-site work, study of demand with the application of surveys in strategic sites, study of competition, determination of consumer trends and analysis of tourism vocation; in the third stage the results obtained and the portagolio of projects based on the reality and potentials of the territory are presented. It is set as a target for 2023 for Turi to be identified as a planned, sustainable and safe tourist space that will motivate the visit of domestic and foreign tourists.
