Revalorización del papel de la mujer indígena dentro la sociedad: metodología pedagógica artística aplicada en la Unidad Educativa Baltazar Aguirre

Abstract

The struggle for gender equity is increasingly resonating at all levels of society, yet in indigenous communities the lags of oppressive and patriarchal systems prevail, minimizing the role of women. The present work on the degree shows the need to highlight the cultural richness of the community of Chunazana, Nabón canton, with contents that, through education through art, rescue the values of reciprocity and complementarity typical of the Andean worldview, placing the indigenous woman in her rightful place in society. In this way, a ethodology built on the basis of planning that was given in plastic creation workshops to a group of students in the eighth year of Basic General Education at the Baltazar Aguirre Educational Unit is implemented, giving rise to spaces for expression, reflection, new thoughts and actions that value not only the important role of women, but also the vision of a united community that can live in harmony.
