| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación está orientado a analizar la institución de la tortura y su evolución en el su uso y práctica de la misma a través de la historia, sirviendo ello como un antecedente al estudio del tipo penal de tortura previsto en el Art. 151 del Código Orgánico Integral Penal. Se analizaron las prácticas disciplinarias actualmente utilizadas por miembros de la Policía Nacional en los Centros de Rehabilitación Social del Ecuador, y se determina que los mismos pueden llegar a deshumanizar a las personas privadas de libertad mediante la humillación y cosificación. Finalmente el presente proyecto de investigación relata los hechos suscitados en el pabellón de mediana seguridad JC del Centro de Rehabilitación Social Centro Sur Turi en fecha 31 mayo 2016 con la finalidad de determinar si se subsume al delito de tortura . | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research work is aimed at analyzing the institution of torture and its evolution in the use and practice of it throughout history, serving as a precursor to the study of the penal type of torture envisaged in article 151 of the Organic Integral Penal Code of Ecuador. We analyzed the disciplinary practices currently used by members of the National Police Force in the Social Rehabilitation center CRS Turi, and it is determined that they can dehumanize people deprived of liberty through humiliation and objectification. Finally, this research project relates the events that occurred in the Medium Security Pavilion JC of the South Center for Social Rehabilitation Turi as of 31 May 2016 in order to determine if it is underlined with the crime of torture. | es_ES |
