| dc.description | La presente investigación tuvo como propósito identificar el tipo de apoyo social que predomina en los adolescentes hombres y mujeres respectivamente. Se hizo uso del enfoque cuantitativo, cuyo alcance no experimental fue de tipo descriptivo, pues se trabajó con resultados numéricos, obtenidos mediante la aplicación de dos instrumentos psicométricos: Cuestionario de Apoyo Social Funcional de Duke-UNK y el Cuestionario MOS de apoyo social percibido. La muestra estuvo conformada por 184 adolescentes pertenecientes a los primeros años del bachillerato general unificado del Colegio Nacional Experimental “Benigno Malo” de Cuenca, Ecuador; siendo el 44,02 % mujeres y 55,97% hombres; con una edad media de 15 años. Los resultados permiten ver que las mujeres perciben más apoyo social que los hombres; predominando el apoyo social percibido basado en las relaciones de ocio y distracción; continuando con el apoyo afectivo y ayuda material. Mientras que en la percepción de la subescala de apoyo emocional sobresalen los hombres. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to identify the type of social support prevalent in adolescent males and females respectively. The quantitative approach was used, the non-experimental scope of which was descriptive, since numerical results were obtained, obtained through the application of two psychometric instruments: The Duke-UNK Functional Social Support Questionnaire and the MOS Questionnaire of perceived social support. The sample consisted of 184 adolescents belonging to the first years of the unified general baccalaureate of the National Experimental College "Benigno Malo" of Cuenca, Ecuador; being 44.02% women and 55.97% men; with an average age of 15 years. The results show that women perceive more social support than men; predominantly perceived social support based on leisure and distraction relationships; continuing with emotional support and material help.
