| dc.description | Esta investigación busca ser un aporte para la reflexión histórica que permitan identificar los elementos que influenciaron en la prestación de los servicios de agua potable y saneamiento en la ciudad de Cuenca. La investigación se centró en desarrollo de servicios, infraestructura, gestión y provisión, basado en la recolección de información cronológica; se manejaron las siguientes fuentes de información: i) Medios de comunicación de la ciudad ii) Libros de consulta iii) Registros municipales iv) Sesiones de Concejo Cantonal v) Testimonios y entrevista con exfuncionarios. Mediante el método de análisis de contenido con ayuda del software ATLAS.ti se realizó el análisis de las noticias recopiladas. El periodo de análisis comprende desde principios de información disponible en la prensa escrita (diario El Mercurio) (1924) hasta la creación de ETAPA (1968). La investigación trata de dar respuesta a las siguientes preguntas. ¿Cómo se ha gestionado el acceso al agua potable en Cuenca? ¿Cómo ha cambiado este servicio a través el tiempo? | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research sought to be a contribution to historical reflection and identify the elements that have influenced the provision of drinking water and sanitation services in Cuenca city. The research focused on the development of services, infrastructure, management and provision, based on the collection of chronological information; the following sources of information were managed: i) City media ii) Reference books iii) Municipal registers iv) Council sessions v) Testimonials and interviews with exfunctionaries. The analysis of the collected news was carried out by using the content analysis method with the help of ATLAS.ti software. The analysis period ranged from information principles (1924) to the creation of ETAPA (1968). As a result of this investigation, we sought to answer the following questions.
