| dc.description | En el desarrollo de neoplasias malignas en la vejiga urinaria en bovinos se conjuntan dos factores, por un lado la intoxicación crónica con el Ptaquilósido presente en helechos del género Pteridium y la infección por Virus de papiloma bovino (BoPV). La presencia de la infección puede ser determinada con herramientas de biología molecular en muestras colectadas post-mortem. Por lo anterior, en este trabajo se pretendió identificar la presencia de BoPV en muestras de tejidos de vejiga urinaria, en sangre y orina para evaluar su uso como muestra clínicas para el diagnóstico ante-mortem; para lo cual se analizaron muestras procedentes de bovinos con papilomatosis bovina asociada con hematuria vesical enzoótica bovina (HVEB), colectando para ello 132 muestras de orina, tejido vejiga urinaria y sangre de 53 animales, muestreados en los camales municipales de Azogues, Cuenca y Paute, utilizando PCR y RFLP como pruebas diagnósticas. Para Válidar el ensayo de detección de BoPV se realizó un control de proceso para cada una de las muestras mencionadas, con lo que se pudo identificar 126 muestras válidas. Únicamente se pudo identificar la presencia de una mezcla de BoPV tipo 3 y 6 en una de las muestras de sangre colectadas, mientras que en las muestras de orina y vejiga no se pudo determinar su presencia; los BoPV identificados concuerda con los tipos de BoPV ya descritos en sangre. Por los limitados resultados del presente trabajo hace que se requiera profundizar el estudio, orientándolo hacia la identificación de material genético de BoPV en muestras de lesiones neoplásicas presente en vejiga urinaria de animales de edad avanzada. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | In the development of malignant neoplasms in the urinary bladder in cattle, two factors are combined, on the one hand, chronic intoxication with Ptaquiloside present in ferns of the genus Pteridium and infection with bovine papillomavirus (BoPV). The presence of the infection can be determined using molecular biology tools in post-mortem collected samples. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the presence of BoPV in samples of urinary bladder, blood and urine tissues to evaluate their use as clinical samples for ante-mortem diagnostic; for which samples of bovine papillomatosis associated with bovine enzootic bladder hematuria (HVEB) were analyzed, collecting 132 samples of urine, urinary bladder tissue and blood of 53 animals, sampled in the municipal camals of Azogues, Cuenca and Paute, using PCR and RFLP as diagnostic tests. To Válidate the BoPV detection test, a process control was performed for each of the mentioned samples, which allowed the identification of 126 valid samples. It was only possible to identify the presence of a mixture of BoPV type 3 and 6 in one of the collected blood samples, whereas in the samples of urine and bladder tissue its presence could not be determined; The BoPVs identified agree with the types of BoPV already described in blood. Due to the limited results of the present study, it is necessary to deepen the study, orienting it towards the identification of genetic material of BoPV in samples of neoplastic lesions present in the urinary bladder of old animals. | es_ES |
