Evaluación del status funcional y calidad de vida de los pacientes con patologías respiratorias del departamento de clínica del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscosoen el periodo abril-octubre, 2014

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to evaluate the functional status and quality of life in patients with respiratory diseases in the Department of clinic in the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso April - October 2014. The method used was cross-sectional. (PC6min) six-minute walk test and the questionnaire SF - 36 to 33 patients in the period April - August 2014, extracted data were analyzed using the statistical program SPSS version 20 and Microsoft Excel 2010. Among the results the 57.6% were women (19) and 42.4% were men (14), with ages between 18 and 75 years. The functional Status evaluated through the PC6min, 84.8% presented poor performance (> 350 m) and 15.2% (351 to 450 m) moderate performance. And in the quality of life that was carried out through the questionnaire SF - 36 was observed in the component of physical health, which includes dimensions: perception of health in general, physical function, physical role, bodily pain; It was observed that 54.5% had poor scores (0 - 30/100), the 42.4% (31-70) and 3% (71-100); and in the component of mental health including: vitality, social function, role-emotional and mental health, 33.3% presented bad scores, 57.6% average and good 9.1%. He was also a kinesthetic management plan for patients with pneumonia acquired in the community and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and also edu-communication talks.
